Quipu has been selected together with other 4 initiatives around the world from amongst 900 applicants to participate in the 2019 World Bank Youth Summit happening in Washington DC December 2-3. This year's World Bank Youth Summit will provide a platform for youth around the world to contribute to global discussion and to actively learn how to develop a concept into a smart city solution. These solutions will seek to address problems that lie at the intersection of technology

We were awarded a second prize at Upswell and Accenture ´s Innovate for Good Challenge during Upswell´s Chicago 2019 Conference. The challenge recognizes organizations catalyzing social change using new I.T. such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, or extended reality. At the Latin American Ventures Summit 2019 organized by CAF´s (Latin American Development Bank) held in Cartagena, Quipu was awarded first prize on the category of financial inclusion.
